Fake lawyer arrested in Abia state

A man who defrauds people while posing as a lawyer has been arrested.
According to reports, a man identified as Mba Akachukwu, was arrested for impersonation and possession of counterfeit Nigerian currencies. Akachukwu who is currently undergoing police investigation, was taken to the Aba area command, where it was gathered that he had been defrauding unsuspecting members of the public of their hard earned money..
Akachukwu also admitted to using a fake ID card to get the police to release a lot of suspected criminals from custody on bail. Akachukwu had been arrested after police stormed his residence based on a tip-off. The police recovered several counterfeit N500 and N1000 notes, alongside several deeds of agreements, invoices, letterhead papers of Aba North Local Government Area and two fake litigation officer and Aba North task force ID cards.
