The men of the moment Antoine Griezmanm, Dimitri Payet and Oivier Giroud have scored notable amount of goals and Portugal must be wary of the treat the trio poses to them.

Here are five things Portugal needs to do to defeat France
1. Risk Pepe: If Portugal wants to hold their own in the defence the Real Madrid central defender should be paired with Southampton man, Jose Fonte because the duo have combined well since the start of the tournament.

2. Not letting Giroud turn: Though the Arsenal striker has not scored many goals but his physical presence in the attack and aerial contribution has been a factor to Antoine Griezman’s sterling performance in front of goal.
3. Don’t let Payet cut inside: This could be a difficult task for the Selecao’s but one distinctive factor about their squad is that they all packed with midfielders so if the midfield area is congested, the West Ham man will be limited to cut into advantage positions.

4. Don’t leave Griezmann unattended when possession turns over: The Atletico Madrid striker has not only score goals at Euro 2016 he is also technically gifted as he cleverly holds on to possession in midfield and against Germany he was a hand full whenever the Germans lost the ball to the French

William Carvalho should be on the look out for the little man when such occasion occurs and Portugal should also avoid giving the ball away cheaply too.

5. Target Evra: The only weak link in the Les Blues defence is the left back position and the Juventus midfielder has been a regular recipient of yellow cards since the tournament started. Ricardo Quaresma should be used as a distraction for the former Manchester United defender and once he is cautioned he would have to defend with extra care
