SOULS NEED SPACE

I often hear that presence makes the heart grow fonder but I beg to disagree! If this is so, why is the rate of divorce so high despite the presence and binding, sticking togetherness of couples? I think absence makes the heart grow fonder! Presence leads to over- familiarity and all it brings is contempt which consequently brings divorce! It is not everyone that can cope with the monotony of routine marriage! This is why marriage counselors and relationship therapists often advise easily bored people, sophisticated brainiacs, weird men and strange naturally emotionally multi- directional women to live apart sometimes, travel often and introduce the requisite spice into their dying unions. It is strange but true. This is the whole essence of weekend getaways, regular trips of one of the couple and the exciting allure and passionate stream of conflict make up sex and wrong but sometimes useful tip of occasional cheating to spice up mostly white people's weirdo marriages. The ennui that comes with permanence or its thought alone can be killing. Some are advised to break up, live apart for a while, make up, re-connect, re-marry at intervals to keep their union intact. Marriage is a beautiful conglomeration but it takes hard work to make it work and understanding of personality paradigm to make a right prescription for its sustenance. For some, out of sight is out of mind, for some, they only realise the value until its out of reach! Let us not forget our differences, let us understand them!
